We are planting the seeds of good printing using the traditional handset process of letterpress. Setting and inking type and pressing it into paper with antique presses, one impression at a time.

Connector and educator in the printing community. Owner of the Type Farm, the barn houses her presses, equipment, type and ornament collections, and treasures. Erin is a Printing Stewards Board Member and coordinates LEAD. She values the remarkable printers who preserve the history and knowledge of the craft.

Wood type makers preserving and reimagining craft by creating high-quality wood type that honors the legacy of historic printing while meeting the needs of today’s printers and designers. From sugar maple boards to perfect end grain slabs cut into ornaments, catchwords and other printers candy, it all happens in our barn workshop.

Letterpress printer passionate about sharing hand-set letterpress printing and inspiring the safe, creative, and imaginative use of once-essential, now nearly obsolete materials. Brea teaches workshops at the Type Farm and beyond, works at Moore Wood Type creating wood type, and occasionally prints for personal projects as well as commercial clients.
